The service

ToneDeck is a Mandarin learning app: spaced-repetition review, tone drills, vocabulary, conversations, and a pronunciation check. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.

Subscriptions and billing

ToneDeck Pro is a paid subscription. Purchases made in the iOS or Android app are billed by Apple or Google; purchases on the web are billed by Stripe. Entitlements are managed by RevenueCat and unlock Pro across all your devices.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel a mobile subscription in your App Store or Google Play account; manage a web subscription through the billing portal or by contacting us. Refunds follow the policy of the platform that processed the payment (Apple, Google, or Stripe).

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or reverse the app, and no using it unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that do.

Content and ownership

ToneDeck and its content are owned by us and provided for your personal learning. Your learning data belongs to you.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
